DANISH SURF AWARDS

The first-ever Danish Surf Awards was created to celebrate the people, achievements and community shaping Danish surfing. The awards were presented as part of Cold Hawaii Surf & Film Festival in Klitmøller.

I was responsible for developing and coordinating the project, bringing the concept, people and practical production together. The first edition generated more than 7,500 public votes and culminated in an awards night in a completely sold-out Kassehuset, with guests from Denmark, Scandinavia and Canada.

The plan was for Danish Surf Awards to continue, but Covid had other plans.
